December 26 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm thankful for the relaxing day I had today. After yesterday, I took it easy. I got the notifications done this morning, then watched a couple of movies, and ate leftovers. It's been a good day. One in which I didn't need Ibuprofen for my back. That doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. It means I'm not doing too much and enjoying the massage recliner too.
That's been my whole day. I didn't do anything. I only relaxed. I did meet all my fitness goals, which doesn't mean anything since the steps are dependent on wrist action and nothing more. I will be getting my watch cleaned and a new battery in it after the new year and put the Fitbit away. I know what I need to do to be fit.
Starting January first, I will start posting the health report again. It's doubtful I'll be walking anywhere, but I will be in the pool and fitness center.

@DianneN Thank you. I might look skinny, but the scale says otherwise. I'm up again. January I will be working off December's weight gain. What I don't understand is how it happened. I'm not eating junk food. Everything is healthy. I'm guessing it's the surgeries and my activity level is down from what it was. It's good I'm back in the pool again.

Glad you had a nice, relaxing day. And that's good to hear about sharing your health report again! I will share my food/health stuff too once I get back on plan (most likely the 4th)

@just4him My pleasure. And thank you too. I really hope to actually lose in 2021. I will weigh more on January 1st 2021 than I was on January 1st 2020.

jest love this photo! ya need a 'down day' e'ery now'n then. glad yer back 'twas not screamin' too loudly, that the massage'n yer new chair took the edge off.
sunshine, near 70's, got lots tended outdoors. seems i've a new feral, 'r 't least one that's not been seen prior. 'nother lovely calico with lots 'f stark white. oh, the pond nearly finished thawin' today. turned the sprinkle'n so's the birds could get 'em a bath'n the trees without worries.

yepperz, lots done. pond with a layer 'f ice 'gain this morn, took a while fer such to melt 's the water 'tis frigid. not used to such, the waterfall 's 'lways kept such from freezin' all the way 'cross. yes ma'am, 'nother cutie to melt my heart. jest what i needed, lol.

Thank you. I'm glad it didn't too. Not so much this morning. I took Ibuprofen when I got out of bed.
I'm glad you got a lot done yesterday with the warmer temps. Your new feral sounds cute. I'm glad the pond is almost thawed and the birds are enjoying a bath again.

It was quiet here today also. and thinking today about the cars that took the mailman til lasst weekend to pickup if everyone got their cards yet.Hope so. Been doing my annual real ofNot My Will and even at 50 plus reads I still get teary eye in the same places,

Enjoy that almost pain free day. Sometimes we have to listen to our bodies aches and pains and just rest! Thankful for no major issues to have to tackle recently. And also the weather with no snow in the forecast.
