Busy Days

I didn't get here yesterday and almost didn't get here today. I've been very busy. I have a personal deadline I'm working on. Other than doing laundry yesterday, I've been busy working on Vendetta. I caught up with where I left off several months ago and completed the corrections on the manuscript. Now, I'm writing again and hoping to finish the book soon. I can tell you it won't be finished by the end of the month. I expect to finish next month. That's only an expectation. Books have their own deadlines, just like babies have their own due dates, not necessarily when you expect your little one to arrive. I'm very happy with how things are going. I know the revision and edit process will take time as I know there are still corrections to make, but I know what those are, minor, and can be handled in the edit of the novel as I press forward to the end. We have lots of sunshine yesterday and today. That's hindered my time on the computer. The sun gets onto my screen and I can't see to write. It also means I can't be here either. The good thing about the sunshine is it's no longer severely cold. We're in the 20s and yes, that feels like a heatwave after the negative temps we had for three weeks. I'm glad to be back to normal. Now, I need the sun to go away so I can get work done. You may or may not see me much in the days ahead as I work diligently to finish Vendetta. I also need my son to get the tablet he wants so he can get the cover done for Vendetta. That will be the next thing for this book. That's what I've been doing. How are things going with you?
