Special Birthday To Remember Today

Today is my son, Dustin's birthday. He is forever 16. I was blessed with 16 years with him. Many memories were made. I look back over the years and so many happy moments to remember.
Dustin was very funny. Always making me laugh. He could have been a stand-up comedian. There was a movie called Weekend at Bernie's. Such a funny movie. He could act out the part of Bernie perfectly. And would do so many times. Only if his friends were not around. Those smiles were only for me to see.
Happy Birthday Dustin. You are Forever missed. Forever Loved.
Never take those you love for granted.

I am so very sorry. I know firsthand it is beyond comprehension to bury your child. I always picture mine, daily even now and it's been a long time. I wonder how he would look, who he would have been now. It helps to treasure your memories of him, as you do. I send you a big, big hug. Happy Birthday, Dustin!

So thankful you have so many happy memories with your handsome and loving Dustin, some of which you shared with us here. I specifically remember how he enjoyed fishing when he was little. Oh Bernie's, yes, that movie was crazy funny - I'll bet your son had a wonderful sense of humor! A happy, special birthday to Dustin. .

I'm so sorry for your loss. And I don't care if it was a day or a decade ago, my grandfather said the hardest thing he ever did in his life, even after losing three wives, was burying his son.
