A Memorable Day!

Hello everyone! How’s your day? Mine is fine. I have an hour break time before I will prepare our birthday dinner for just the 3 of us. Our son will come for his birthday dinner after his work. I am glad he has time for us.
I have just done decorating his birthday cake. Just a simple chocolate sponge cake and decorated with the leftover decos from last Christmas. Our dinner will be Knödeln (potato dumplings), meatloaf filled with asparagus and wrapped in bacon slices. I am getting hungry thinking of the food. We will have an early dinner.
Do you have a special day this month?
Our weather is warm at 17C. It was sunny and hour ago but now, it’s cloudy. Anyway, have a nice day/evening. Thanks for reading.

Your meal plans sound delicious, and that cake looks so wonderful.
Its a cold day here, we had a dusting of snow last night and it is -1C with the wind chill factor today.
Not the kind of weather that anyone wants in April, but it is here anyways.

My husband and I celebrated 33 years of marriage this month.
I thought it looked like little gifts on the cake. You do such fun cakes.

I hope he enjoyed his birthday dinner with the two of you. Others have mentioned making meatloaf here too. It seems very popular right now. We are having hot days along with cool ones too in the morning and then warms up during the day. Yesterday I was out and it was a very very nice day. I wore a jacket and it was fine and not too hot. We had our Independence Day last week and it was a nice day. Didn't really do anything but still enjoyed the day. Aside from that nothing comes to mind for me.

Now that's a feast to enjoy! Meatloaf one of my favorites followed by is that a chocolate cake with little candies on top? Delicious
