Well, hubs FINALLY went over to the other house yesterday. Thank God that everything was OK. The sump pump was still working; and the basement wasn't flooded. However, there is now a list of things that he wants to do before listing the house. One thing is the 10-foot weeds behind the house. I am calling the yard maintenance people today to have them take care of that. They are charging almost $500 to do the initial lawn mowing and yard cleanup; so they can certainly take care of THAT! I am beyond frustrated.
Concerning my computer problems: I started using Microsoft Edge for a browser instead of Chrome or Firefox; and my computer has been working much better. So far no freeze-ups. Knock on wood!
Other than that, nothing going on. What's going on with you?
Stay safe, healthy and happy.

Home sales have been red hot here in the States. We are hoping to get it sold quickly once it's listed. Congratulations on the sale!

@LindaOHio I was told it is a seller's market - we figured it wouldn't apply to us, because our house is (ha ha was) older and well out in the country.
We figured we'd have to travel in the spring, back and forth (4 hours each way) to cut grass and so on.
We got a call 2 weeks after we'd moved saying he had a serious enquiry, and it was all done and dusted by March.

@sulynsi That's so great. We are getting the lawn mowed too at a premium price; so we hope to get rid of it ASAP. Have a great week!

@LindaOHio Sometimes it's worth spending money on stuff like that.

Glad you enjoyed the photo. They said they would take care of the weeds around the house; so that's one less thing my husband has to do.

It's expensive getting someone to do the yardwork for you. I remember my mom did it. I don't remember how much money it cost her but I know it was a lot.

@LindaOHio I agree but there is no choice unless you can do it all yourself.

The problem with browsers is never the browser, it is all the things we add (called extensions or add ons).
but glad things are working with Edge!

Glad you enjoyed the photo. Do you really think it could be the add-ons, etc.? Posted an update -- Edge froze up on me. It works much better overall; but it still froze up! :-(

@LindaOHio Edge froze, for a long time did you have to restart it?

First of all, well done from switching to Edge, much much better than chrome. I say that with experience.

Second of all cute pictures. Like really cute.

third just chilling at home for the last 30 days and finishing up office works., finishing up house chores, cooking half-burnt food, and making conversations on myLot.

I am sorry that you are frustrated. After all we are all humans, we feel frustrated and disappointed. I hope that work at the house will be accomplished.
How is Microsoft Edge so far? I have it installed on the PC but have not used it.

Edge has been working very well. So has Firefox. I don't know when it will start to freeze up again. I hope not soon.

$500.00 is outrageous. They should be ashamed.

@LindaOHio That’s about the going rate here for fall and/or spring cleanups. Landscaping is much more expensive.
Rotten computers!

If they were landscaping, it would be one thing; but they are charging that much to cut the grass and weed whack some weeds...and maybe pick up some branches from the yard. Yes, I use my computer a lot; and it's been SO ANNOYING!

@DianneN They charge us $288 + tax to mow 1 acre. We get the kid across the street to mow our 1.25 acres for $30. I can't wait to get rid of that house. It's sucking us dry.

Boy, me too. I was afraid that either the basement was flooded or someone had broken in again!
