How a MyLotter I don't know turned my hell day into a heaven day.

I had to work from 9 AM to 8 PM today. That's a long day for an old fart. But a MyLotter I'm just getting to know suggested I try to view it as a heaven day instead of a hell day. I decided to become "planful," so this could be a heaven day. I had to teach at the preschool in the morning. Then I had to teach guitar, ukulele and bass lessons at Guitar Center in the afternoon. I wore my long pants (my Guitar Center pants) to the preschool (I usually wear shorts) and bought a sandwich at the Indian Deli on the way to Guitar Center. I made a vow to myself to make each moment a happy moment. Between students, I went to my truck, took a couple of bites of my sandwich and drank Gatorade. By the time I got to my two giggly teenage girls learning bass, I knew I would make it through the day. I enjoyed every moment of my most difficult day of the week.

what a day indeed! You did well today and you had this very positive mind to do all these things.

That's called power of words. I really appreciate the way the mylotter changed your mindset by just playing with words . Words have such strong impact on our psychology.

They can open up new ways of thinking. Or old ways (I'm usually pretty good at enjoying each moment) that had been trumped (no pun intended) by worries.

Ah, the most important question I've seen! It was roast beast and Swiss on a hard roll, extra mayo and no mustard. And extra peppers.

Just enjoy the moments of what you do. It will show if you are not happy doing where you earn money. Do not think it is a burden rather a positive burden that I am doing this because this is my passion. Smile and everything will fall into places.

As I have heard/read before, you cannot always change events, but you can change your response to them. Glad the day worked out well for you. Who is the helpful MyLotter in question?

That brings me memories of a few long days when I was working. Yes, it was a mixed bag for me like life is in general. Our approach and attitude decide how we fare in dealing with the challenges.

I tried to break it down to moments. How am I doing in this moment? Don't worry about how many students I still have to teach. The sandwich and Gatorade helped too.
