For those of you that do not recognize it, that is a line from the kids' book, 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.
My doctor is on Maternity leave, I saw the doctor who is covering.
He checked my blood pressure, listened to my heart, looked in my ears, felt of my thyroid. Says I am very healthy in those aspects.
He did a quick test about my dizziness to see if we could provoke it in the office.
Final conclusion is I have stress, and anxiety, and I have been dehydrated.
He is prescribing a mild anti anxiety medicine and will see me again in a month.
Meanwhile, besides the medicine, I can take a muscle relaxer, and eat healthier, and drink more water and maintain my spiritual life too. He said he does not usually tell people to do that but he felt it was something that I could do and it would be helpful.
I can drive if I need to.
It was a reassuring visit.
I do feel better.

There are so many things that can be causing this dizziness, but I will admit to the anxiety. I am trying to be better about fluids and other things.

I have vertigo from time to time. Think it is partially brought on by dehydration. Spiritual health is very impotant.

Yes, it can be brought on by dehydration. It started after a pretty dry day or two when I know I was not drinking enough. I probably do not ever drink truly enough.

That's good. And, he's right. Maintaining healthy habits and keeping up on what makes you feel good, will help your over all mood.

They are only a very small part of what is stressing me. It is still Saturday. I still get dizzy if I move my head just the wrong way.

Some of this is from things that I cannot get around but must go through. There are things in my life that can be put more in order, though.

@GardenGerty I think that only few lucky people do not have things in their life that need to be put more in order.

LOL. Every day my grandchildren listen to that little song, in different versions (they put videos on YouTube).
Regarding what the doctor has told you, follow it to the letter and try to take things calmly, nothing is more important than being healthy and feeling good.

That sounds like a good visit, I like a doctor who is not just about medication but suggests other options.

I do hope so. Right now I just feel heavy all over, but part of that has to be the weather, too.

Sounds good. I find that muscle relaxers make me goofy headed. I have had dizzy symptoms for a long time- thanks for the reminder about drinking water. One of my issues is that there are calcium deposits in my ear and that causes dizziness.

Yes, those calcium deposits break off and float around and mess you up.
