I hope those of you that are in this oppressive heat are surviving OK. The temps will start to drop today; and by the weekend they will be in the 50s and 60s!
For some reason (knock on wood) my computer has not been freezing up lately. I'm thinking that maybe the problem was my ISP (internet service provider). I have a new mouse; and that's been solving the mouse freeze-up problem.
Our little housekeeper was here yesterday and helped me donate and throw out a LOT of clothes. We are slowly working on regaining space in the dressers and closet.
What have you been up to? Any plans for Memorial Day weekend? For those of you in other countries, we remember those that have died in combat.

May be going camping this weekend, still unsure. Don't want to be the third wheel as I believe I told you.
Glad that the computer issues are resolving. Will she be back next weekend to help?

@LindaOHio She's frustrated with helping you? Or are you saying she's not happy because of the temps?
Feeling kind of hurt at the moment. Friend that I THOUGHT I was going camping with just asked me to petsit. She's very forgetful, I didn't really want to go camping anyway, but it hurt my feelings that she seems to forget that I was invited.

Our little housekeeper is going camping Thursday. It's supposed to be in the 50s and 60s Friday! She's not a happy camper. She will be back in 2 weeks to clean and help me declutter.

When I was using computer mice with wires, I had to buy a new mouse every three to six months. I switched to a (true) bluetooth mouse for my laptop, I change only the batteries every couple of months now and I have one more USB port available.
Monday was a holiday here, so there was a long week-end and I saw on Saturday a couple of friends from another city that I had not seen since 2 years. We spent a fun afternoon.
In France we celebrated the end of WW2 on May 8th, but our memorial day is on Nov 11th, the armistice day of WW1. Our next public holiday will be on July 14th for Bastille Day, but as it is a Wednesday this year, there will be no long week-end.

My USB mice usually last several years; so it was about time to replace it. Glad you were able to spend time with some friends. May 31 is our Memorial Day. The next holiday will be July 4...our independence day. Have a good day!

Glad to hear you are getting things done. Plans for Memorial Day weekend are just to get some needed yard work and other stuff done. No one is in town to have a barbecue. Actually think it will be kind of nice to have the whole extended weekend to ourselves. Sometimes I like not having commitments.

We are on the same wavelength somehow my Internet problem ended and now you have some, Always good to unclutter especially clothes you no longer wear, Nothing on the weekend just hanging out at my laptop. It is important to remember what Memorial Day is all about,

Slow computers and freezing screens are really annoying. Glad you seem to have found a solution. Rain on and off this weekend so I'll have my cookout on Monday. No other plans just spring cleaning and "music."

A cookout sounds great! My computer froze up again this morning. I've narrowed it down to my ISP (Internet Service Provider). If it keeps up, I will call them and see what they have to say.
