Do you ever shop at the Dollar Tree or Dollar Store?

I admit that I do. It's decent place for getting stuff like bleach, laundry soap, miracle cleaners (some of which actually work), hand lotion, kitty (and human) hair brishes, and cheap iced tea. I may stop there on my way home from teaching at Guitar Center. The morning was fun, and I DID have big fun with my new "best friend." But I still have to make it through a handful of guitar lessons and band practice. Wish me luck!

I shop at the Dollar General a lot more than I shop at the Dollar Tree.

@TheHorse If you have been in both; you can tell the difference. The Dollar General has different things to sell than what the Dollar Tree has.

@Scrapper88 I am a Dollar Tree expert. What does Dollar General sell? Right now I'm looking for corn seeds.

I do. There are certain things at each store that are good and on my list! You just have to figure out what they are in the beginning and stick to it. I use Dollar Tree for crafting supplies mostly but they do have a few other things that I pick up there on a regular basis.

@Daelii True and Family Dollar is putting out crafts now. They are owned by the same company as Dollar Tree. They have the $5 off $25 too! I love those!

I am the same way! However, since Dollar General expanded their craft sections I tend to get the basic supplies there since I can use a 5$ off 25$ purchase. Dollar tree here has expanded their school supplies and accessories so I tend to get that stuff there when homeschooling and doing hands on learning projects!

I never do for the simple reason that we have no "dollar tree" or "dollar store" here. Good luck for your lessons.

Not many Dollar Tree's here but Dollar General is headquartered in TN, so we literally have one on every corner. I shop form time to time.

@TheHorse The biggest difference is most everything at Dollar Tree cost $1. Not the same at Dollar General.

I love Dollar Tree. The trouble is I always end up coming out with more than I went in for!

@TheHorse Yes! That's why I hate going in because I know I'll see new crafting supplies in: tulle, ribbon, wreath frames, etc.

I've shoped a few times at Dollar Tree but usually go to Dollarama (they have better potato chips).

I had went into such shop before in my country but the conditions of the items in the shop were bad. So I ended up leaving without getting anything.

Yes, Pretty and I shop at both Dollar Tree and Dollar Store... We do buy brushes, interesting foods in the frozen case to try before we buy them in bulk in Walmart and sometimes, unusual candles. Also, overrun books for $1. I hope you have a good afternoon/evening at work.

I do like the Dollar Tree and shop there occasionally. I'm usually the person who has a cart full and you don't want to get stuck in the line behind me

@Marilynda1225 But they didn't have the Miracle Cleaner in powder form that I like so much. I am slightly traumatized.

I JUST went there! I bought some aspirin, a brush for Kitty (will she like it?), some Reecie cups, and other random stuff. I spent $7 plus tax. Heh.

We have our version of dollar tree which is call RM2 shop or eco shop. I would go there sometimes to purchase a few items. I would try not to go often. I can easily get tempted with the items and their price.

I like the Dollar Tree, though I do not shop there often. They have nice things there and best of all everything is a $1 so you don't need to try to find a store worker to ask them the price of something.
