Should I go or should I not?

There are always some decisions which we find tough to take. I always find myself stuck in many such situations where the decision making for me is usually not easy.
Like few days back one of my friend called me at his home and I was like I should go or not. I didn't go at the end.
Another case like should I buy this thing or not or should I go for another brand ? and end up with buying nothing.
There are many such things which always make me puzzled and eat up lots of time to take decision.
Do you guys also have face such problem? How do you manage to take decisions in such cases?
Do you consult someone for the same or you take self decisions?

I base it on the need versus want. If I really need it, I will go for it. But if I just want it, it is very difficult for me to decide.

that depends on the decision you have to make. If it something serious and will affected other people other than me, then I consult other's advice. But if it is like buying things or going somewhere, I just think off the pros and cons and what my body is telling me

I decide quickly like when I'm shopping clothes or shoes I quickly made decisions. Sometimes it's really hard

I usually think about whatever it is and ask myself, do I need to do this or do I want to do this. If it needs to be done, I just do it. There's no use in putting needed things off. If you don't do it, you'll end up annoying yourself and probably other people, too. If it's something someone else wants me to do, the same logic applies.
If I really can't make up my mind, I ask Pretty. She gives her opinion and I usually follow that. *shrug*

It depends on how good that person is at making decisions.when we make wrong decisions, if we learn from them and try to not repeat them.We will grow mature and not find ourselves in difficult situations while making similar type of decisions again.We learn form experiences
While for me I consult my parents and friends before making important decisions.
For simple daily life decisions , I just judge both the options available and choose the one I find suitable for me.

@CuriousGab absolutely that's why it is said that failures are the pillar of the success.
People hesitate to take decision as they fear that they will fail but they forget that if they won't take risk they won't start a work which is equivalent to failure only

I face such situations...especially while traveling ...when the restroom is not clean enough, and I have this need to relieve myself. Will I get some infections..can I hold on till the next stop. Thank god we live in India. I have gone into these woods ...yeah...woods..where there can be snakes and ants...preferred that to yellow brown commode. So yeah...I am forced to make a choice. When it is fun choice... I gamble. Toss a coin kind.
