The weather yesterday was picture perfect. 70 degrees and sunshine. It was soooo nice.
Yesterday we took one of our cars in to the dealership for a tire rotation and oil change and inspection. It also needs recall work done for an ignition coil reprogramming; but that will take about 4 hours. I made another appointment for July 1. We waited for the car to be done (about an hour); and then we went to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner. I had earned a gift card that covered our meal. Hubs had chopped steak; and I had chicken tenders.
The last meal that we had from Meals on Wheels was quite good - stuffed shells, carrots, broccoli, wheat bread and grapes. We have two new meals in the fridge; but I will be eating my leftovers from my Longhorn meal today.
Tomorrow is my dentist appointment (I lost a filling); and Saturday is the wedding of a friend; so it has been a busy week for us.

MOW sounds like it is really giving you guys variety. So glad that is working!

Yeah, I'm hoping it's not too hot or too rainy. The ceremony is going to be outside.

I had my check-up with my doctor, and I’m sharing my salad with a stray cat at Chuy’s. Chuy’s has a t-shirt that says “Tacocat spelled backwards is Tacocat,” so I call the cat “Taco Cat.” 
She gets half the chicken off my salad!!!
I’ll probably get my first dose o’ covid vaccine today after lunch, since the doctor cleared me to get it.

@LindaOHio — I’m glad I got it, too; however, I’ll tell the world that was eight hours of torture when those “side effects” (actually, your body doing what it’s supposed to do in fighting the invasion) kicked in.

@FourWalls I'm sorry you had side effects. Other than a very sore arm, I didn't have any. Hubs had chills after the first shot only.

I only eat beef rarely now. I used to love prime rib. Now I eat mostly chicken.

Thanks. The temperature should be around 78 for the wedding; and we're hoping that there's no rain during the ceremony. The reception will be inside and has AC.

That is a busy week! I've been taking it easy this week after having to trim off many tree branches around my yard last weekend. Went to the beach today to enjoy some gorgeous weather. Low 80's and bright sunshine with no humidity. Later I played a little tennis with my brother although I did not overdue it. Will be watching golf on TV this weekend. Hope your weather continues on the nice side

4 hours for the recall work? That sounds like a long wait!
Never been to a longhorn steakhouse, not sure we have one in the state.
I'd probably get chicken tenders too. I got that today from a mexican restaurant!
Glad the MOW meal was good, hope the others are too.

How many cars do you have? Hope all gets fixed and you'll have no more issues to deal with.
It's awesome that you are able to earn gift cards to cover your meals out. Hope the wedding goes well and that you enjoy it.
