This looks delicious. I always have shelled walnuts and pecans at home. I use them for cooking and baking but I also like to eat them.

I'm not sure how you halved the recipe .I'd have loved to had pecans when I was a kid though I would be chunkier than I am now if that had been the case.

My mouth is watering just looking at that picture. I'm glad you enjoyed your batch of those cookie bars and I'm sure it was wonderful reliving those memories. This weekend I'm going to be making my moms potato salad. Just looking at her hand-written recipe makes me smile
