Do you like our nephew's sign?

My nephew has had a new sign made for his mini-farm. He and my sister (his mother) breed dairy goats and have done exceedingly well with them. The cute little kids, and some of the older ones, have featured in my discussions from time to time.
They now have a new sign for their gate and we were very impressed with it. It’s a metal cut-out and these are very popular here. We need something to put on the wall near the front door but want something unique. Several of the houses here have identical hangings which I think is a pity. We’ve been looking at what’s available and might settle in the end for something that features birds, perhaps magpies or willy-wagtails. We can choose our own design so could maybe have something made up from one of our photos.
The photo is of our nephew’s sign.

I do like the sign, its very well done.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with for a sign, birds are nice, but shouldn't there be a roo in the background somewhere, especially when you played host to so many for so many years before the move.

Here it is mostly 'Beware of dogs" I do not need any sign My over grown garden says it all (lol)
You could pick that which is unique in your collection.

Yes, I do like the sign.
Hmm... you've had some really good photos of the roos on your farm and several pictures of flowers you've taken from around the world... I'd have a hard time picking just one photo to use. I'll be very interested in seeing what you choose.

@JudyEv it was a design around our name, with the images of Dogs. Metal like the one your nephew has. I think I still have it in the garage, but am scared to look.

Yes, I don't really want something that someone else within the complex has got. It doesn't matter too much I guess but I'd rather have something that is just 'ours'.

I love the sign. You could go where he did to have one made. They did a good job

That's a great sign. I think yours should have a roo on it.

It is a fantastic sign. I really like it. We had a 'sign' made out of wood back in the day. I THINK we got it at Wisconsin Dells, or maybe we got it in Branson. Don't remember. But it just says "The Bauer's," and underneath, "Est. 2007." The year my wife and I got married.
It hangs in our kitchen between the kitchen and living room.

That sounds as good a place as any for it. We bought our old gate sign that Vince's brother and his wife surprised us with when we went away once. It can't really go anywhere much here but we'll probably end up putting it up in the garage.
