This is probably the last of discussions about the Riding for the Disabled event held at Collie in Western Australia.
I thought you’d like to see the ‘rainbow pony’ as we called her (upper right and lower left), and her diminutive rider. The pony is looking a bit browned off in the top photo. Some of the handlers get a bit over-enthusiastic and this three-year-old’s mum was trotting along quite fast while holding the little girl’s leg. I was getting a headache just watching her bouncing up and down!
Upper left we nicknamed ‘the princess’ as she wore a very nice tutu over her riding pants. She had great difficulty walking but, on her dear old horse, she was as mobile as the rest of them. She was another who smiled all day.
Lower right shows a pony rugged up for the night. This 22-year-old was brought in and harnessed ready to be put in a cart but the weather was too bad so his rug was put back on and he was turned out again. He is waiting for his friends to join him.
Tomorrow we head off to another endurance ride. They are forecasting rain and showers for a week so photo opportunities might be limited. We’ll see how we go.

how much was it for a ride on a pony. But I guess these are just for kids. Adults maybe for big horses.

It is a club and was a special event so there were no fees. These children have lessons every week and I think they might pay for them.

Oh, my! She is tiny on her pony!
I won't mind fewer pictures as long as you and Vince drive carefully and get there safely.

@JudyEv Hmm... I wouldn't call you "elderly". Maybe "older" but that doesn't have the same connotation as "elderly". (I think of "elderly" as people over 80. *shrug*)
You're welcome...

ok, the last one looks like someone just took a tablecloth and made it into a horse cover!

Great pictures and a great program. I'd love to make friends with a horse.
