We've ordered a sign for our house

Some time back I put up a photo of my nephew’s metal farm sign. You can see it here: He purchased his from the eastern states of Australia but last week we visited a man who does similar work. He has an amazing property tucked in between valleys and hills and is completely off-grid which is pretty impressive. Anyway, we’ve ordered a sign for our house. Many of the houses here have some sort of decoration near their front door. Sometimes you see two the same but I really wanted something unique that was reminiscent of our Donnybrook property. Our sign will have gum trees, kangaroos, Herc with a willie wagtail on his back, parrots and ‘Good Evans’ across the bottom. The photo is of Hercules, our pet sheep.
My nephew has had a new sign made for his mini-farm. He and my sister (his mother) breed dairy goats and have done exceedingly well with them. The cute little...

It only takes about a week once we approve the design but we will ask him not to post it until we are home from our three weeks away.

I hope so. I loved the ones in his studio. There were some great fire drums (drums for holding campfires) as well as farm signs and wind vanes.

I like your nephew’s metal farm sign in silhouette.Good idea ! there must be gum trees, kangaroos,etc. on your sign. You mentioned them in your posts many times.

Oh wow!! How lovely to see your name appearing again. I know you're having a tough time there - at least, tougher than the west. We've been so lucky over here. Hope you'll hang around for a while. We moved about a month ago to an over-55s lifestyle village. It's been quite a change.
