He's a friendly guy

My husband is a friendly guy, while I tend to be standoffish and maybe shy.
I am glad, though. He knows who to talk to and how to get help.
Sort story here: Hubby has been waiting on a part to get a certain car fixed. Well the part came, the repair was done, and we drove the thirty+ miles to get it.
He got it almost all the way home and a belt broke. One he had purchased and replaced about two years ago.
He knows the parts people and they looked up his warranty and he got the part free.
Bad thing is, when he was ready to put the new belt on, he could not budge a bolt he needed to remove. He has gotten weaker the last few years. I have too, I could not budge it.
We do not live really close to neighbors, but I guess he knows some of them. He took off and walked down the block, the neighbor came and they were able to get the job done. I was glad of that.
I am glad Bob is a friendly, neighborly guy.

I would lways end up paying, but you know, I would not have so many cars, either.

Nice Neighbors can be a blessing in a pinch. I think most people will come to someone's aid if asked. Glad your neighbor was one of them!

Glad that he could get the help. Seems like he is a people person and he builds good rapport there. Not all are blessed with that kind of social pleasant skills.
