Spectrum came out this morning to take care of my Internet problems and my TV problems. I'm now on my computer, not my laptop. YEA!!! I'm also very happy to be back here again. Did you miss me? I know most of you know I'm in the process of moving. I'm moved and almost finished unpacking. I'll finish today, but not if I stay here, like I'd like to, and finish the notifications. I also need to get over to the other apartment and get the last of the bags, no more boxes, and bring them over. Then I can start cleaning. I have a woman coming on Friday morning to clean the apartment. Then I can turn in my keys to the office and never see that place again, at least not as a place to live. Since I live a block from the complex, I see it every day when I walk outside.
Once I'm finished unpacking and hanging the pictures, the next step, I'll get pictures of the finished apartment. I'm very happy with it. The people here are so friendly and amazing. Everyone knows everyone. There are activities to enjoy, so I'll never be bored.

The unpacking is done. I finished it yesterday. I only need to get the rest from the other apartment today. It won't take long to put that away. A little cleaning and I'm done. The cleaning woman will be there tomorrow to do the professional cleaning.

Since you only moved a block away, did you do a lot of the moving yourself, carrying things in a cart maybe? I've done that before, saves on the moving costs.

Moving can be a real joy sometimes. Glad it's almost over for you. And, the two places being a block apart must've made the move smoother for you.

@just4him That's wonderful. Seems like it went by fast, too. Much faster than when my husband and I moved into our house. We got it done in about two weeks.

@kaylachan It did go fast. I turned in the keys this afternoon to the old place. One week and two days and everything is unpacked and in place.

I'm exhausted. With help, I got it done in one week and two days. Everything is also in place, and I turned in the keys to the old place today. Now, my back needs to heal.

Believe it or not, I unpacked as much as I packed. 
I'm glad it all fits and looks nice. For a one-bedroom, it's roomier than my two-bedroom. And I've made the dining room table work as my office. I will need to store the computer in my room if I have company over for dinner.
Thank you. I love the balcony. It's open on one side because it's on the ground level and allowed the movers to come through the patio instead of going through the long halls to my apartment.

Yesterday was a very rainy day with over 6 plus inches of rain that put water into the garage and today it is very gray outside, all thanks to Nicholas and that low last count was still sitting stationary west of us which means we can expect more rain today with high rain chances throughout the weekend. Glad you are happy with your place and are beginning to settle in.
