And We are Back!

Yesterday, we traveled 3 1/2 hours to upstate New York to visit The National Baseball Hall of Fame. It was a Father’s Day gift from our son to my husband.
After having lunch, all four of us went into the building. My son’s girlfriend and I stopped to look at wax figures of Babe Ruth and plaques of the first Hall of Fame inductees. Then we hit the gift shop and went to a winery.
The guys spent the afternoon there in pure bliss. They especially loved the Willie Mayes exhibition. They even stopped at the gift shop and bought us gifts.
We went to dinner overlooking the Catskills (mountains) and a beautiful lake and marina. The guys talked about all the wonderful things they saw in the Baseball Hall of Fame. We girls just yawned. 
I was so happy that my son’s gift to my hubs was enjoyed by him, too.
We all slept like the dead last night, but just returned from a game of golf. It’s been a wonderful weekend.

Glad you enjoyed the BB Hall of fame. We were thinking about going to the football one in Canton when we were visiting my nephew near there.

I have been to the National Football Hall of Fame but never went to Cooperstown. Sounds like a great family day.

OMG!!! I haven't been to the Catskills since I was a pre-teenager--what a rush of memories came back when I saw that word!!

It is a lot of fun to wander Cooperstown! so many amazing people enshrined there!
but I do understand not loving the experience!
