A Cool Rainy Day

Today is cool and rain keeps falling. It must haves rained all night. Everything looks soaked outside. I pulled my swing to the center of the deck last night before going to bed, I didn’t want to find a wet swing this morning. I came out earlier with a light blanket to answer my notifications.
I went in and made a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch, then my daughter in law called to let me know that everything is fine up their way. Both my daughters in law are special to me.
Since then I’ve been here on my deck with my blanket reading a book by Janet Evanovich, To The Nines, She is funny and outrageous. I can’t read anything serious right now so she’s
just the ticket. I hope the sun comes out so I can walk today.. For now I’m spending my time on Mylot and reading.

I am glad you are enjoying that book Ruby. Sounds a little chilly there then.
It must be so nice with the blanket. I can just see you now and smell the lovely autumn air.

@RubyHawk Oh I see that old sun will hotten it right up huh..it is sort of like that here at this time..you wouldnt know if youd want the heat on, then be too hot.

Stephanie Plum is one of my favorites... I have the entire collection up to this point on my phone. (Do you read ebooks? If you're interested, I can give you a site that lets you have free ebooks. I use the Kindle app on my phone.)
That sounds like such a relaxing day.

@RubyHawk There are currently 27 Stephanie Plum books out.
I prefer paper/ink books, too. But after Pretty and I moved, we just don't have room for physical books anymore. All my real books were stored in the garage in plastic totes. It's much easier to access them on my phone than digging through the totes.
If any of your friends are into reading but can't afford paper/ink books or don't have the room for them, give them this link: b-ok.cc They can download five free ebooks in 24 hours or, if they give their email address, the site will let them download 10 free ebooks in 24 hours. I've downloaded over 300 ebooks in the last year or so from that site.

@DaddyEvil I’ll pass it on to my daughter in law and granddaughter. They love ebooks. I’ve started another Stephanie Plum today. Before I can collect many more books I’ll have to donate some of mine. My son covered one wall in my living room with book shelves and they are full.

I went to bed when I got home
It's been a cold rainy day ever since.

I love Janet Evanovich and her books never disappoint. They certainly do make me laugh
