I'm ba-aaack. We returned from our mini vacation to Erie, PA on Saturday afternoon. We went to the casino, saw a lighthouse, etc. Big thrill was seeing a flock of about 20 turkeys. We pulled off to the side of the road; and they were in the front of and next to the car. Wish I had brought my camera.
The traffic was horrendous, the directions were confusing; and the beds were terrible. Very stressful. Glad to be home. As soon as we passed over the border to PA the gas was $3.65 per gallon. Interesting because it was $3.19 in OH.
There have been several showings of the other house. We made a price reduction last Wednesday; and there will be another this coming Wednesday. No interest so far.
Nothing else going on for now. What's going on since I was here last?

Sorry your trip wasn't as fun as expected. Our trip to Myrtle Beach three weeks ago was like that too. That's when I fell, then had a horrible IBS attack.
Hope your house sells soon. There are so few homes available now, so maybe it will.

@1creekgirl A day trip would be good because we wouldn't have to sleep in a bed. We are used to sleeping in recliners due to breathing and back issues.

Before we left for PA hubby decided to fill up the car. I think it was around $3.15 for regular. That was pretty good except they only had super, which was $3.45. He decided he won't do that and just fill up somewhere in NJ or PA. The gas station we found had regular for the same price as the super we didn't fill up at home. Had no choice though. We were low on gas by that point and couldn't look for another gas station.
Drive there was pretty good. Sucks that yours was terrible and stressful.

PA, MD, VA all have high gas taxes (NJ, NY and Delaware are also high).
funny because oil was first discovered in PA!!!!!!!
