Time to Celebrate

I got the call I've been waiting for. My car is done, home, and in the parking lot. Tomorrow I go back to the pool at 5 AM. 
I wasn't happy he did it without giving me an estimate, but it turned out okay. He didn't charge a diagnostic fee. The towing cost was expected. Labor was less than half what Tires Plus wanted. The whole cost came to less than what Tires Plus wanted for the starter alone. So, I'm happy.
To celebrate, I went to Festival to get an item I couldn't get with the Wal-Mart app yesterday, my brownie, prime rib, and baked potato will be my supper. In fact, it's finished, so I'm going to eat and then get to my shows and call it a night early since I need to be up by 2:30 tomorrow.
Everything is back to normal. Oh, and before I forget, I got a call from the previous complex. I'm getting my entire deposit back. That will put back what I spent today on the car, almost.

@just4him I can't say I blame you. If I drove and my car had been in the shop making me rethink how I do things... I would be happy to get it back, too.

Glad you got your car back. sister hip replacement surgery went well today and she is already home. Pray James (brother-in-law with demesia sleeps through the night so sis and I don't worry with the one watching him that he don't get out

Hmmm, good news...yeah sort of, I got the person I needed to reach for my mystery shop so I am all set to do it tomorrow..after the well guy comes. The really good news will be if it doesn't cost as much as I anticipate it could!

That's wonderful!! Food sounds yummy, enjoy! Got my order today Doctor gave me an extra month before next visit & blood draw, knowing holidays coming, made me so relieved! Got the only, it seems, bathtub safety bar, yesterday from Walgreens, at last. My safety bar is rusting that's on my shower stall, so was a bit anxious & worried, for everyone out of stock of it.

@oahuwriter If Walgreens is out of them here, we also have an HME or Home Medical Equipment store that sells them.
