What About Thanksgiving?

The US version of Thanksgiving falls on a Thursday, the last one in November each year. Last year, in the face of the Pandemic, there were many families who did virtual Thanksgiving get togethers. We went to my daughter's house in Portland, where the three of us feasted on a mix of homemade and store-prepared foods. My daughter is practically a Vegan person, so feeding her is not easy for meat eaters.
This year, she will come here, since it is not yet easy for Anne to travel even the two hours to Portland with oxygen and multiple medications.
So, what are your plans this year? Visiting, hosting, virtual?

More and likely; I will spend Thanksgiving alone again this year.

@JamesHxstatic Thanks. The long range report suggests that we might have snow around Thanksgiving. Guest is coming from Spokane. He might not care if the freeway is snowed up but I would worry. So we'll see cause the exact day is just set artificially.

Going to my sister's this year. I would rather have Tgiving down here and I tried last year, but my elderly parents especially my dad, don't want to travel this far.

We will probably have a quiet Thanksgiving here at our house.

@JamesHxstatic This is a one week holiday here. Students are home from school, I fear a surge in new cases.

Yes, I hope the family gatherings don't kick off another round of Covid 19.

Not sure what we'll do. For many years our kids went to in-laws for Thanksgiving and here for Christmas. Now our son doesn't have in-laws (his wife is deceased) and our daughter and family live seven hours away, plus she has a lot of health issues. So if our son and grandson come, I'll cook a ham and trimmings, but I hope they can all come for Christmas.
Hope Anne will feel well and you all will enjoy your Thanksgiving together.
