Do You Use an Electric Blanket?

An electric blanket is an electric wired blanket use for heating a bed. I have one which I have bought more than a decade ago in Ireland when we were still living there. I am glad we still have it. My lower back is aching again and so I thought to put on the electric blanket under my beddings. This blanket was not used for 7years and I was glad that it is still functioning. This will help my back and I am sure I will sleep well tonight. I climbed the 4th floor (no elevator there)of the building yesterday where my friend lives, carrying a box of birthday cake. Maybe climbing the stairs was the cause of my lower back pain. The photo above is the cake I made. The first time I made a turquoise blue cake for a mans‘ birthday. I think, I made it well. What do you think? Thank you for reading. I hope you all have a nice weekend. Take care always and stay safe.

A lovely cake...with an electric blanket on it? Climbing up hill makes my back hurt on hikes.

@thelme55 I used to have one, but if it was switched on and I sat on the bed my hair stood up on end.

@thelme55 yes there was obviously a fault. The hair only stood up on end of my bare feet were on the ground and my butt on the bed. As soon as I lifted my feet off the ground things were back to normal.

Ouch. Hope you feel better. I have a suggestion for lower back. 1. Daily include preparation from black gram (urad dal) in your diet. 2. Glassful of Warm water with 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seed powder, and 1 teaspoon of ginger powder AFTER EVERY MEAL. 3. Sesame seed oil massage for half an hour. Check if six months of this works. Usually it does. No...we in India especially where I live do not need electric blankets. LOL. We are a hot world. LOL
