The weatherman here was talking about “snizzle” (snow and drizzle) for the weekend. He’s just nasty to talk about the S word.

@andriaperry Amazing. For maybe a week or two here in my world winter can mean 5 below at night. That's why our well pump pipe has frozen. And the northern wind chill factor.....

We are having one of our last beautiful days. Then, it's getting colder again in Michigan. We normally get a first snow at this time of the year.

The weather has been so strange this year. I'm glad you got to see some colorful foliage on the trees there. Ours are just turning brown and dropping their leaves now.

@andriaperry I live in the Ozarks and, usually, the colorful fall foliage here is a huge tourist attraction. Last week all the trees around us were still dark green.

We've really had a lot of breaks this year so far. A few years ago we had a big snowstorm on November 7. It will be in the 40s tomorrow after almost 70 today. Brrrrrr. And I also hate the shorter days!
