Today's song that popped into my head is an oldie; and I have no idea why this one has become an earworm. Maybe it's because so many members are dealing with challenges; and my brain pulled out a bit of positivity.
"Blue Skies" was written by Irving Berlin in 1926 for the musical "Betsy". It became very popular with audiences; and many artists have recorded this number, including Willie Nelson. The version I am featuring is by Frank Sinatra and was recorded in 1941.
"Blue skies all of them gone
Nothing but blue skies from now on"

There was something in my head earlier. But now, I have forgotten what it was because now, it has been taken over by "Blue Skies." And, that has been joined by Donny and Marie's version of "Deep Purple." I often have multiple songs in my head at a time.

Frankie can sing any standard tune with that golden voice and make it grand! My Mom was a big Willie Nelson.

Willie is OK. Didn't care for his version of Blue Skies; so I switched to Frankie.

Super. This is a classic song.
What is in my head? One Sweet Day , I have seen multiple YouTubers reacting to Budakhel feat Katrina Velarde version. It is a nice cover.
