I thought the clock said 4:54

When I do not have my glasses on and it is dark it is easy to misread a clock. I got up, because it was "almost 5" Nope. It was actually 4:04. So I have done a load of wash and eaten breakfast. I am dressed. I went out to the car for something I was missing. The cats are outside. That was a fast start to my Friday.

I got up at 1 am, got dressed and went outside to try to see the moon eclipse. I took several photos but they didn't turn out very good. I came to myLot and enjoyed seeing the photos that @myklj999 took instead. It was too cold outside to stay out for very long.

@GardenGerty Yes, he does. I was glad to see he'd captured so many good shots of the moon. It was 29F here...

@RebeccasFarm I have to have my glasses, because squinting does not cut it for me anymore.

I was awake at 3, but I went back to sleep around 6 for another hour-ish. Even the cats think that my sleep habits are weird. Of course, those little fuzzies help to catribute to them! .

I have one that is particularly purrsistent at trying to manage my sleep habits. Makes it hard to roll over. She is a cuddler.

@GardenGerty Either they cuddle me and make me stay in place, or they poke me and get up in my face because they want for me to get up. Unfortunately, their intended schedule for me often does not actually match up with how a human should sleep.

That's too early to wake up. I prefer to set an alarm clock than rely on my body clock.

My alarm is set for 5. I somehow always wake at 4:54 and get up.

I woke up at 4, turned on the other side and had an additional hour of sleep. I was tired this morning.

It is amazing sometimes how much you can accomplish with just an extra hour at the start of the day.

For me an extra hour at the beginning goes much further than one late in the day.

It's especially difficult to tell the time if you're seeing double: is it 11:11 or 1:11?

Exactly. I do that a lot. I go to bed and sleep soundly for about three hours and then I cannot tell if it is 1:00 something or 11:00 something.

5 is when I normally get up on work days.I am afraid my body likes to take bathroom breaks at least once in the middle of the night.

Those dark mornings now get me confused as to the time too, We had a rainy day so it was dark outside anyway and I wondered why I felt like I had slept enough when I realized it was already 9 but the gray day made it darker, I hope you have a nice weekend,
