Ready to make meatloaf

Yesterday I was given two pounds of thawed ground beef. I will make meatloaf, I guess. It is always yummy and keeps well in the freezer for my lunches.
I have already made granola.
Lots of baking and cooking to get done because in the US it is Thanksgiving week. I will have a meal with my brother and other family membersl

No one I know is actually getting together with family, it seems covid and distance both have all of them home bound. I think Carol will have a video chat with her daughters as they live in Colorado. This pandemic hasn't lost hold of us yet.

I might have skipped it, but my daughter is coming down from Minnesota. I think it is kind of a birthday present for her. She has not seen much of the family in about five years.

@GardenGerty With the pandemic, life has now become monotonous. We can no longer go on holidays. Furthermore, covid cases are on the rise here and there are some restrictions in place

I made a meatloaf a month or so ago, sliced it and froze it for later consumption on sandwiches. It's always a quick and easy fix for a hungry tummy.

I've been craving a particular veggie loaf for the past couple of days. I think that I may just have to get it, since the craving is still there for that particular thing.

Yes, it is. I have no idea what he was thinking to thaw it. He is my sister's friend, and they go out to eat a lot. Maybe he got it and never froze it. It was a good Monday.

Meatloaf is a great way to use up ground beef. I am at work on my lunch break now. The day is going by pretty good so far.
