While I've been here some is not been a lot for several reasons. I bought my first book in years, a Nicholas Sparks novel called the return. Very good book as it's all of his. When I begin a book that's pretty much all I do. Although while at work I did try to spend time here. One day out internet at work wasn't working and my phone wouldn't switch to data so I couldn't do anything here. Another time the site wasn't working well, my first experience with that. I did try to get back for visits with those of you that stopped by when I wasn't home. I still have a little ways to go before I'm caught up with notifications though. ~~~~~ We're still busy trying to get the last customers in before it snows to much. I'm taking about cleaning their windows for those that don't know. We're also very busy at my full time job cashiering as you can expect with the holidays approaching. My husband and I are hosting Thanksgiving in our partially done kitchen for my eldest d daughter and her husband. We're buying the fixings at our local Meijer where I work so we just have to cook sweet potatoes and heat up the rest. Maybe more on that another time. My wound on my foot, ulcer is the proper term is finally healed after a year of going to the wound clinic to get it bandaged up. It'll take another eight months for solid skin to cover the area. I plan on wearing a bandage over it to protect it from my shoes as last time it was blisters from new shoes that caused it Seems like I was going to talk about something else but that's enough for now. I plan on finding an image on my computer to use her if it works but that might be a bit as I want to begin cleaning for tomorrow.

That's really good news about your ulcer. They can take forever to heal sometimes.

The first one I had too a year and the months. This one might have healed faster had the nurse practitioner not released me before it was totally healed. I was home for months before returning. This one took a year basically.

@JudyEv it's due to varicose veins which have gotten worse through the years from standing at work.

I plan on keeping the skin covered for a longer time if needed just to make sure I don't get another.

It sounds like you have been quite busy. I think I would want to go to a restaurant for the big day, if my kitchen wasn't ready to entertain. We are going to sis's for Tgiving, and her kitchen is quite small like half the size of mine. That is going to be a feat. They will probably have to cook everything piecemeal. I would invite people down here and have in the past, but my parents don't want to travel that far.

@MarshaMusselman Of course, but probably also less worrisome. It sounds like you have been through enough.

Let me start by saying Happy Thanksgiving Marsha. Hope you have a wonderful day. Glad that your foot is healing nicely and it's smart to keep it covered so that it continues to heal. You certainly sound busy and I'm glad your absence is due to that and not anything wrong.

Nothing wrong here. Once January comes all I'll have is tax stuff and then I can be here more often. I'll be working the main job though.
