Not a pulled muscle

Physical therapy says it is not a pulled muscle, but rather a pinched nerve. Same treatments, though. Before they did anything they sent Bob to get x rays. As far as anyone can tell, nothing is broken. He starts regular therapy next Monday. I hope it helps. He already has exercises he is supposed to do at home. Same things, at least in part, as I was given. Really helpful for him to do. I will be gone the rest of this evening, and tomorrow at least most of the day. Right now I am trying to get the cats in. Have a good Thanksgiving, if you celebrate, or at least a good Thursday. I will see you Friday or Saturday, at least for a bit.

@LadyDuck Okay. I assumed it is possible because it is nerve impingement.

@Shavkat My husband had a pinched nerve and the therapy was long and in the beginning you must avoid movements.

I have not been here much at all this weekend, but our visits were great. Back to the "real world" tomorrow.

I have experienced both. Both are a pain in the neck.

Same treatment for a pinched nerve? This does not sound at all good.

As far as I know, some electrical impulses twice a week, and gentle movement. I guess it depends on where the nerve is. I just hope some one helps him get some relief.

Something has to help. At least they are not saying he needs surgery.

Time away can be too long, and yet too short as well. I am not positive I am ready to go back to work tomorrow.
