Seafood for Christmas lunch

The photo shows our Christmas lunch. We were due to go to Vince’s sister’s place for dinner so, on Christmas morning, we slept in for a while then had lunch on our own – crayfish, smoked salmon, prawns and salad.
The crayfish was a real extravagance but, as it turned out, we could only eat half our serve so we were able to have the rest the next day – in which case it wasn’t such an extravaganze after all.
Later in the afternoon, we went to Vince’s sister’s place for dinner. It was a very hot day but we ate outside and had air-conditioning at night in our bedroom so all was well.

I am glad you both enjoyed the visit with Vince's sister and her hubby, though.

@JudyEv I deleted that part just a minute ago. I got worried you'd be offended.

@DaddyEvil You don't need to worry. I"m so old I've already forgotten what you wrote!!
Now I'll spend all day trying to remember.

@Ronrybs I couldn't tackle one either. I always read the dessert menu and if there is something really delicious then I'll just order an entree so I have room for dessert. Although others tell me that dessert goes to a different part of the stomach so you always have room for it.

your Christmas lunch certainly looks delicious and festive on your table. Glad you had a nice Christmas dinner at Vinces sisters and that you were able to eat outside in spite of the heat.

Could you digest three kinds of fish, especially sea fish in one meal. At least I can't. The day I take non-veg which I only take for lunch I feel heavy. I hardly take anything in the evening.
