December 28 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's another good day.
I'm thankful I didn't go to the Y this morning. The roads were slick with them freezing after the snow we received yesterday. The same conditions will prevail tonight as more snow comes our way soon.
I'm thankful I did four laps on the hallway this morning since I didn't go to the Y. According to my scale, I gained 20 pounds through the holiday season. I need to get that back off asap. I'm also using the foot cycle to get the exercise I need.
I'm thankful I got the notifications finished this morning. It's always good seeing what you're up to in your part of the world.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Where Eagles Soar. I finished the chapter I was working on. I feel I accomplished something with the mess that one is in. I also worked on New Horizons: Predators and Blue Fire. Not much to do with that one.

I hope for you that a lot of that is water weight. It will come off faster. I only gained 3 to 5. Yes I gave in and checked.
Thankful the slow cooker missed Cutie cat when bad bad Ghost mommy cat knocked it down.

@wolfgirl569 Yes, it does. I was happy to see the scale come down a bit this morning. I hope the trend continues. I don't have any junk food in the apartment right now.

I am thankful for the naps in between work today. Thankful that work for today is almost over so I am calling it a day after the 8-hour shift work.
I am so happy that you were able to make 4 laps. I also gained weight and need to trim these belly fats.

That's great info for the activities or things you were thankful for. Let's praise the Lord. I'm so thankful for the cash gifts I received, thankful for the safe arrival of my nephew from UAE, thankful for I got no side effect of the second vaxx.

You are enjoying snow and winter. I am not. It was 72 degrees today. Certainly not normal weather for the end of December. We will be getting rain very late tonight into tomorrow. They have rain every day into next week. Sunday it will be finally turning colder, I hope. Hope it stays that way.
I am thankful I went to the church and got it cleaned and the Christmas decorations put away until next year. Now I can stay in the next couple days while it rains. Have a blessed evening.

Sorry you couldn't go because of the roads...our roads are bad too.
Some are even closed.
Oh wow, sorry to hear that about the weight....water weight can get pretty high but is easier to get off I think.

@just4him That's good that they should, hopefully so.
Ours are not, but I still drive to my mom's.
no problem....and that is good that is just water weight mostly.
I am glad that I am less than what I weighed at the first of the year at least.

Yes, they do. As I suspect they are more water weight than anything with the amount of salt I consumed in those goodies this season, I'm hoping I'll get rid of most of it without trouble. I'm sure there are a few stubborn pounds added in that will take more work. As long as I can get to the pool, it should come off easily. I need non-icy roads at 4:30 in the morning.
