Today has been a crazy, nerve wracking day here. Our younger son, pictured with his girlfriend, is leaving his job and beginning a new advertising company with a couple of partners.
Finally, his attorney approved his contract after many changes and it had to be signed today.
If the business goes belly up, he will sell his house and live in an apartment. If not, the sky is the limit.
Tomorrow he has to break the news to his old partner, who won’t be very happy with his leaving. A few others will quit, too, after he goes first, and follow him to his new company.
Such is life, but he needs to move out and up.
I love his new title and the name of his new company, which I can’t share here.

Thanks for the clarification
and thanks so much. He’s worried how his boss will react when he breaks the news to him. He likes him a lot and he’s always been good and generous to my son, but can’t run the business. My son did it all. Hope the business doesn’t fold.

@DianneN True, but some things cause more problems than others... I'm sure your son will do fine. He got a good roll of the dice in the brains department.

I'm sure his old boss will muddle through somehow. Your son may get talked about unkindly for years, but that's a small price to pay for freedom.

After he officially quits tomorrow, he will be so relieved. His boss will be devastated and not very happy at all. My son ran the company for him and basically did everything. This has been brewing for a good year. At least my son waited until he received his bonus
Thanks so much!

His old partner has been expecting your son, to keep things going. He will be sorry, once your son quits
and it's his own fault! What a beautiful couple

@kobesbuddy My son did all the hiring and firing. And his boss doesn’t know how to do the work or anything except demand more from his workers and raise prices for his customers.
In addition, he’s a nonvaxer, so my son only did conference calls with him at meetings. The boss actually held a meeting with covid! Idiot! Adios…..

@DianneN That previous boss needs to find someone else to USE! Or, do HIS OWN work
