She blew off the porch

We have a winter storm blowing in from the north. The front of my house faces north and of course Angel had to go outside, right before the wind decided to pick up.
Two hours later, I figured she would be ready to come in, because the wind was blowing. something fierce. So I opened the front door.
I have a little porch. She tried to jump up onto it from the side and the wind just blew poor little Angel off the porch. Of course she tried again and came on in.
Guess I could ask you how your weather is.

The city weather sirens were going off a little while ago, waking me from my nap. My phone says there's a Winter Weather Advisory now for icy rain and snow... (We're supposed to be getting up to a foot of snow in the next two days. I hope the snow misses us. It's already raining outside.)

I'm glad to learn she's okay. Poor baby. Mine, not so bad. Going to have lows in the fourties, but we are about mid January now so it's to be expected.

I think she was embarrassed that it happened. She only weighs about 7 pounds. Small but mighty.

You are a bit colder than we are. The snow here stopped but the wind did not. That would be between 8 and 9 degrees F.

She has decided to go out for a while now, in the daylight, in the afternoon. Not so much wind. She only weighs 7 pounds.

Okay, willy-willy is a new one for me. I remember grandma's chickens somehow getting up in low trees and the flapping and fluttering down. Must be similar.

@GardenGerty A willy-willy is a mini-mini-tornado. Sometimes they're strong enough to pick up a chicken and swirl it around a bit.
