We are lucky so far

Reading about the weather around the country I realized we are lucky so far. Yes, it is cold and we have had high winds, but we have not lost power and we have not lost the internet. Yipee!! Sometimes that is not the case. Last week that was not the case. I am going to enjoy just being snug here at home.

We really need moisture of some kind. I do not want the ice and destruction, though and so far it is not happening here.

Well this is almost ten days later. We have not gotten substantial snows, but rather just little bits, and inch or so. I do not mind temps around 31 when I compare them to around 4. With wind! Right now we are balmy and warm in 40's and 50's but the bottom will fall out Wednesday.

@GardenGerty We had a low of 2F a few days ago. We didn't even open a door that day. We got some icy rain and sleet on Thursday. Yesterday was windy but we had a high of 43F, so that wasn't so bad. It was 55F outside today.

It was -4°F here today. I only went out to put stuff in my car and couldn’t believe how cold it was without my coat on . Guess it should have been obvious.

We have not been that cold yet this year, not even overnight. Sometimes putting on that coat seems a bother but you should take care of yourself.
