An empty fridge

Our fridge is pretty much empty.
No fruits. No veggies except for a few red radishes. There’s butter, some condiments, sour cream, eggs, a small piece of Irish cheese, rose petal preserves, and a little bit of half-n-half.
There’s stuff in the freezer—lots of frozen wild mushrooms, halibut and sea bass fillets, a little corn, Eggo waffles, and Russian dumplings.
The pantry has lots of stuff too—Progresso soup, different pasta, a package of gnocchi, canned tomatoes, canned tuna, canned salmon, and canned sardines.
Have no desire to go grocery shopping. Won’t go hungry though. There’s definitely something to eat.

It is and very tasty. I’ve been wondering about Chilean sea bass. Why do they call it that. Don’t think it’s actually from Chile.

It's always great to keep frozen foods and canned foods around

Yeah, then you definitely have something to eat. I don't really like freezing meat or fish. But the fish I have in the freezer my mom bought frozen.

As long as there are cans of food (soup, fish, veggies, beans, etc.) there is always something to eat.

I really need to go shopping. Maybe if I had nothing at all I could eat I’d go.

I had a soft boiled egg for breakfast. And then I took my mom's cabbage salad and added canned tuna to it. And then I had coffee and an Eggo waffle and a slice of cheese. It was a pretty good breakfast. And in the afternoon I had some Russian dumplings with sour cream and red radishes on the side.

I think you'll be fine. When you want or need to shop, you will. But, you seem to have a few good choices for food.

@lovebuglena No, I do not keep fruits in the fridge. Only after I have cut it, I keep the leftovers in the refrigerator.

My mom asked me today if I need anything in the store and if I have stuff to eat. I told her I don't need anything.
I didn't want her buying stuff for me.

I guess that's a good thing. My dad came over today to bring some stuffed cabbage they made and he also brought over some veggies, a mango, and some lemons. I have something for a salad now.

@LindaOHio they get us stuff plenty of times and they never ask for money for it. But if I get them something (they asked for or I got myself) my mom will always give me money for it, no matter how little an amount it is.
