And We are Back!

We extended our stay in sunny, beautiful Florida. We intended to visit our condo for two weeks, but the weather was too wonderful to leave. It only cost $45 for each of us to exchange our tickets. Real bargain!
So many things happened, but that’s for another discussion. Just want to apologize for the disappearing act and the loss of notifications. So sorry! And thanks to my friends who wished us a safe flight, fun, and messages.
The photo on the left is of Orville the osprey. He greeted us from his palm tree the second we arrived. So thrilled to see him healthy and alive! The photo on the right is one my son took of an osprey while in the Everglades. His photos are always better than mine

Planning on flying back in March or April for a month or two.

How exciting that Orville was there and greeted you when you arrived. Glad you had beautiful weather in Florida and didn't have to deal with what's been cold and snowy here. I was starting to worry about you when you were gone for so long but definitely glad it was just that you were having a good time.

I hope the stay in the warmer environs of Florida must have been good.
Even here, the cold weather is not giving much respite with sunshine coming just now and then.
It might sound boring but it is a cold and foggy morning here.
We are now getting impatient to see Spring days even though they could be a bit summer-ish at times!

Thanks so much, Anna. I heard him before I saw him. I was sooooooooo happy he was alive and well. My son and his girlfriend and her friend also met him. Sometimes he flys away, but always returns.
Yes, I enjoyed Florida. The kids had a wonderful time, despite my son being on the phone with his new business keeping him busy, and hubs made a new friend at the pool.

@MALUSE We tried feeding him bread crumbs, but he wouldn’t touch them. He prefers to catch his own fish.
I think he is used to us calling to him and applauding when he catches a fish. They are very proud when they do and fly around to show off each catch. We seem to be the only ones who interact with him.

That's sweet that you extended your stay! How much longer are you going to remain in South Florida? I wish I would have thought to contact you, I was just in Wellington a few weeks ago.

@DianneN March is when paintball season starts, and there are a lot of tournaments in March, April and May, so I will most likely be doing a lot of traveling across the country during that period. But, if by any chance I happen to be in your area while you're hear again, I'll make sure to let you know.
