Lately

Lately we have been having an early supper, then we are so tired we go to bed pretty early. Hubby was in bed asleep by 7:30 last night. I was not too long after at 8 but then I got up at 4:30, so again, I expect to be quite tired this evening. We are not much fun at all, I guess. It is time for me to get a shower pretty quick now, so my hair will be dry when I go to bed. I may try to think of another post in a little bit.

Hey, that's perfectly alright. I know a lot of people who are like that.

He is needing a lot of sleep lately and the physical part of my job can be tiring.

We try to stay up quite late otherwise we're awake half the night. I hope you both sleep well tonight.

Often how I sleep depends on how he sleeps.

Seven hours of good sleep can be enough.

When Pretty had long enough hair and got a shower later in the evening, I'd braid her hair so it wasn't a tangled mess the next morning. If your hair is long enough, you could see it that works for you. (My hair is almost long enough now that we could do that with it, too. *shrug* But I'm normally up most, if not all night, on myLot so it doesn't matter if my hair is wet when I climb in bed.)

I do not have tangle problems, but if my hair is wet when I go to bed I get a stiff neck. I have braided it before. It is long enough.

@GardenGerty Pretty's hair is like mine. The more humid it is outside, the more our hair curls. It's not fun trying to untangle a little girl's long hair when it's not braided for the night.

@DaddyEvil I really can relate, I get out of the shower and have instant curls.

He does not work. I think he is tired from some of his medicines.

@GardenGerty That could be. Some medications drain your strength.

We have been eating earlier here lately too. Maybe it is the change in the weather.

Lastnight I went to bed early too, I fell asleep reading a book. When I woke up this morning I did not feel rested at all.

Nothing wrong with going to bed early. I know some who are asleep by 8-9 in the evening. It's great if you get a full night's sleep. That is my problem, I can go to sleep but have trouble staying asleep through the night and usually get 4-5 hours of rest most nights.

In the summers I have a tendency to eat later in the evenings. In the winter, not so much, I prefer earlier. I like to be outside on nice summer evenings and I guess that's the reason.

I can't go to bed that early, or I am up in the middle of the night which then makes me tired way, way too early in the day, if that makes any sense. I've always been a night person. My idea of early is midnight. I know, that's not normal. But for me, it is.

@GardenGerty I find it to often be the time I get peace and quiet. The phone isn't ringing, no one needs me for anything, I can sit and read or sew and just unwind.
