The Kid Lawyer

Today during the rainy dreary weather I’m reading a book by John Grisham, Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer. It gets more and more interesting. How many of you have read the book? I have a sneaking suspicion I’ve read it before. It keeps seeming familiar but interesting. If I have read it before I’m thinking it has a bad ending but I’m not going to cheat and look at the ending. So don’t tell. It only has 263 pages so I only have probably fifteen pages to the end. Did you like the book?

@RubyHawk and it also helps that his parents are lawyers. And as for the ending...

So you have read it. Teddy is a smart little boy and an interesting kid. I hope I’m wrong about the ending.

@RubyHawk John Grisham is a lawyer himself and he has written many books. Only In 2010, he started writing a series of legal thrillers for children featuring Theodore Boone. I like more his books for adults.

@LadyDuck I saw Kid Lawyer was for young readers but I like some of those too. I think it’s because he’s a lawyer that John Grisham writes such interesting crime stories. He knows the justice system so well.

I haven't read it, I like Grisham books, but I have a hard time finishing them for some reason. I should just skip to the end to see what happens.

Sometimes I want to do that. I used to finish every book I started no matter how dull it was but now if isn’t interesting I put it aside.

@Marty1 I usually like his books and I did like this one but I read Skipping Christmas by Grisham and it was dull. I didn’t finish it. I have the Firm but haven’t read it yet.

@Marty1 Skipping Christmas is about a man and his wife deciding to go on vacation rather than stay home for Christmas. It’s one of the most uninteresting books I’ve ever read. The only good thing that’s good about it is that it’s short.

That's a short book for John Grisham. No, I haven't read it, though I have read a couple of his books.

It is one of one of his shortest books. The smallest Grisham I have on my shelf. That’s why I took it out to read. I wanted a book I could finish quickly. The last book I read took me a week to finish.
