First of all, Happy March 1 to everyone! I've been waiting for this month since November; and I'm so glad it's here. Temperatures for the next week will be above freezing for the most part; and we should get rid of the last of the s**w.
As you may have read, my BIL(brother-in-law) passed away recently. We sent my SIL a plant in a nice basket. She sent me a picture of what they sent; and there was NO BASKET! It was in some type of planter with blue foil around the base. Needless to say we were very disappointed. I wrote to Customer Service; and within the hour I received an apology and a nice partial credit! I used Teleflora this time; and I applaud their Customer Service.
Not much else going on. I have a dentist appointment next week; so I'll actually have to get out of the house! I finished reading "The Hot Zone" which was recommended by @NJChicaa. If you like true stories and things medical, you should enjoy it. It tells the scary story of Ebola in the United States.

Beautiful babies, in your photo! My dentist appointment is in two weeks, just a cleaning. No basket? The cheated you, with your floral arrangement, they owed you credit. March 1sty has always been a special day, to me:)

I have an appointment to get an estimate for a new roof tomorrow, so I’m going to go get a home equity line of credit today to soften the blow of what they’re going to tell me.

@LindaOHio — when she saw my credit score (it starts with an 8) she said, “No problem.” I have to take my proof of homeowner insurance to them today after the roofer leaves.

I have been wanting to read that book. The same author wrote a good fiction book called The Cobra Event. There was show based on The Hot Zone too. This morning I ordered two phone cases for two new phones. I am going to order a yoga mat and a bra. I may be ordering some more diamond paintings too. I need to read and eat some more of my birthday cake.

I did not read the book but I enjoyed watching the mini-series (if that's the correct classification) about it on National Geographic.
Hubby decided to order a basket of flowers to be delivered to our income tax person. He ordered it before we went in for our appointment and it was supposed to arrive when we were there but it never showed up. He called the flower shop and it turned out the delivery guy was nowhere to be found.

@LindaOHio I hope the flowers were delivered. I wonder if hubby asked. He had to go back to the tax office anyway because the lady accidentally placed another person's IRS letters into our envelope.

That picture brought a smile to my face this morning. That dog and chicks are certainly cute.
Sorry that your BIL passed away and I can imagine how disappointed your were that your plant arrived without a basket. At least you got partial credit and it pays to complain.
Nothing much planned for today. Just a routine day for me
