Dinner Tonight: Hot Dogs!

I didn't really plan on cooking anything today. We had some leftovers in the fridge and also sandwich makings so that was lunch today.
Tonight I told my hubby when he inquired as to what is for dinner that he could get a can of soup, have a sandwich, make tuna salad or we could do hot dogs and chili. He opted for the hot dogs so that is what he did.
I discovered that I had a mistake in my grocery order while fixing the hot dogs. The can of chili I ordered was without beans and these two cans both had beans. I guess it isn't that bad of a mistake but a little annoying.
What did you have for Saturday night dinner?

@jstory07 We just bought two cartons of them. What I don't eat tonight and tomorrow Pretty will freeze to make her smoothies with.

We just ate lunch right before we went grocery shopping and will probably eat supper around 1 or 2 am. I bought some cabbage and I have hamburger thawing so may cook them together with onions. I liked that last time I made it.
Pretty likes chili with beans but I buy it without beans for me.

@kareng Pretty puts her foods on one shelf and mine on another. Since we've been buying so much extra food lately, the cans in totes are all mixed together but she keeps track of what we buy.

@DaddyEvil I've been trying to stock up on some things like canned tuna. It's always hit or miss though as to if it is even in stock at the store.

I had chili dogs for lunch on Friday! For dinner last night, my daughter made us all poké bowls! Tonight will be a night of leftovers, as we all have to work today (well, they work, I have paintball practice).

Never tried hotdogs with chili. I don't even remember if I've ever tried chili.

My brother doesn't like beans so my mom always bought no beaned chili cans, though thats with her buying them not someone else so never was a mistake.. i hate chili lol. A hotdog sounds good.

It suited him fine. He prefers chili with no beans on hot dogs. They charge more for chili without beans for some stupid reason, so I always get chili with beans. He can pick them out if it is that bad! But when I fix chili here as a meal, kidney beans go in there. So it isn't as if he doesn't like them, just an odd preference.
