Thought I would check in. February was a tough month. As many of your know my sister passed away suddenly on the 11th. My uncle passed away a day before she did and then I had two cousins pass away a week later. It has taken its toll for sure. I have a hard time sleeping and when I do it is always nightmares.
I miss my sister so much and not sure I will ever be able to accept that she is gone. They didnt have a funeral. They are going to have a celebration of life for her in May. I guess until that time it won't seem real. I am going to speak at her memorial. She was so special to me. A loss of a sibling it like no other. I have been doing my best to be there for my niece (her daughter). We talk every day. Her husband is devastated. I worry about him. They were together since they were 13 so he barely remembers a time when she wasn't there. They went through a lot together and were one of my favorite couples.
I am just taking it one day at a time and doing the best I can. Thank you all for your kind words when I posted about her passing. I appreciate you all being there for me.

Wow so sorry for all of your losses. I know all about losing a sibling I lost my sister she had brain cancer. Your sisters husband will get through this with time it will be hard for sure especially at the holidays and also birthdays all you can do is be there for him.

I have been thinking of you, and your extended family.
Remember when you have to speak, just think of it as if you are sitting and speaking with her, that may help you feel a little more at ease. You will know what to think of to do that.
Your family has been thru alot, hold tight to each other as you are already doing with your niece.

It is good to have you back with us and I am so so sorry about all your losses in a short period of time of each one. It is always I found out hardest for those left behind. That should be nice that you are speaking at the memorial. I thought maybe no burial because of the corona. Wow, she and her husband were together since they were both 13. That is really something and I bet it is very hard on him and their daughter. let alone how it is for you. That is all you can do is take one day at a time and I bet there are times you forget she is gone and want to tell her something but she is not there to listen to you. I hope I saw your post and posted something nice. If not, I am so so sorry because I saw it now.
