Got It Done

And Monster loves it. She couldnt wait to model it. It is big on her but for using an adult sized pattern I think it looks good. I had to make several adjustments. Yes Duke doberman had to be close to her. I am glad to have that finished. I have not started cutting my shirts out yet.
After I got that finished I just relaxed except for washing the dishes and feeding the critters outside. It has been cool all day with a cold wind blowing. I fed fast and got back inside. I waited to wake Monster up from her nap until I was done with chores.
She is still here. Her daddy had to work today. But he has Monday off. He is planning to pick her up tomorrow and bring her back on Monday. I am ready for the break. She was watching for him today. Until he messaged I couldnt tell her if he was coming or not.
I still plan on getting my shirt cut out tonight. I also need to wash some material I have before cutting it. That way it can shrink before so it fits right for me after.

@wolfgirl569 - You are right, you can layer underneath it, she will be taller by next fall.

It will fit good yet this fall when we cool down again. It is big enough to layer underneath it also.
Hoping he shows up soon. Shes being good but I am ready

Monster looks really proud to model her new jacket! 
She's probably thinking it's about time you got it done. 
If Monster was mine, I'd be at your house picking her up as soon as I got off work today. (I hated not having Pretty with me when I wasn't at work and sometimes took her with me to the motel and radio station when I was working. She always played quietly in a corner while I was busy.)
Pretty and I worked on getting the pots on the front porch ready for plants this summer. She planted spinach seeds in one of the large pots while I dug up the ground beside the porch to plant the daffodils in at the end of April. (Spinach is the only thing we can plant outside right now and them be okay even if it snows again this year.) We also started several of the insta-pots of bell peppers in the laundry room today so they'd be ready to go outside at the end of April.
I'm still tired. After we got done working outside, I sat down in the living room and fell asleep until 8 pm tonight.

@wolfgirl569 He could get a "hardship" license that would let him drive to your house, the grocery store and, believe it or not, church on Sunday and Wednesday. (That last one surprised the heck out of me!)
Thanks. Pretty doesn't eat spinach but I like adding it to my eggs and eating it raw.

@DaddyEvil Thats why he can. Here its called a work permit one but covers babysitter, shopping and going to work. I dont know about church but it would make sense. They are hoping they will change.

She was very happy.
With no drivers license until May he is better off waiting until weekends. He can get by with saying he is picking her up or dropping her off for babysitting. I dont want to get up at 4 or so in the morning to have her dropped off during the week.
I am waiting a week or 2 before I start anything else. But I have 3 flats of seeds planted now. Hope the spinach grows good.

I was asked last year to make a couple by someone at the auction. I just dont make them in advance to sell. But have when asked

She will outgrow the sleeves first I could wear it before I started taking in where possible. But we can layer under if it gets really cold here again.

You can tell by that smile she's wearing that she loves it. I love working with fleece, is that what you used? It's so easy and the edges don't shred. Grandma, you have an adorable Monster!

It is the blizzard fleece. Joann Fabrics often has it on sale at 3.99 a yard. She picked this out that helps.
