My aunt has a mini-farm and she spends her retirement days planting and growing vegetables and crops of all sort. She has pinkier cheeks and a cheerier disposition compared to the last time I saw her. Farm life and fresh air has made her healthier. And so she wants us to be healthy too so she gave us some of her harvest.

NO! I don't like free stuff!
I haven't seen you in several days. Are you and your family doing okay?

@sol_cee Because usually "free" stuff isn't really free... unless we're talking about stuff like Covid or the flu!
Oh, I see... A lot of people get busy with offline stuff in the Spring. Pretty and I have been getting pots on the front porch ready for new plants this year. She planted spinach in one of them already. Spinach doesn't mind being snowed on when it's sprouting. I got some of the insta-pots ready in the laundry room and Pretty planted bell peppers in them. We'll transfer the sprouts to the pots on the front porch at the end of April.
I'm having an allergic reaction right now. My eyes were closed too much for me to see to drive yesterday. I hope they'll be open enough for me to drive today.

My youngest daughter took all the lawn in her house 2 years ago and is planting veggies. Besides some eggs from her hens, she is bringing now tomatoes and eggplants. Sometimes she also brings me chard but it seems that her hens like them too much so I don´t get many.

@sol_cee Everything she has is absolutly clean as pesticides go. So the most we need to do is to rinse them with cold water.

Who doesn't
"The best things in life are free, the rest too expensive." I have a vegetable garden for summertime treats like tomatoes, peppers, and green beans. Its always satisfying not to have to buy them at the grocery store. In the long run, it saves you money and that's a good thing!
