It is Friday night folks, and that means the possibility of ordering something in. You guessed it right. It's Chinese food, which my wife and I just absolutely adore. And as per the usual, we have gone overboard and spent $70 with tip. I ordered three orders of spring rolls, that makes 6. I ordered one quart of shrimp fried rice. I also ordered two "entrees," both which come with an egg roll and pork fried rice. One order of beef with broccoli and one order of General Tso's chicken. There is also an order of fried scallops which are very good, and the order comes with a free order of eight crab Rangoon. I also, for good measure, got an order of a quart of shrimp lo mein. Worth every single penny, let me tell you.

Yes. Most definitely. I like having it for a snack, an additional meal, and taking some to lunch for work. I also like to expand the shrimp fried rice a bit and add things to it. Yummy stuff.

I always wonder why the heck we call main course an entree when it means starter (or something similar to that) in French. Did you gobble it all up or were there leftovers?

Not sure why we call it that either. We had lots of leftovers, and in fact I still have some fried rice which I will use to make something else out of.

I order Chinese food like once a year. It seems like a good idea and then I eat it and remember why it has been a year since I've had it.

That is the ONLY thing about Chinese food. lol. Delicious, filling at first, but gone soon after. I wonder why that is?

Generally here we don't either. That something unique to Chinse restaurants. Not sure why they do it that way either.

No. We always like to have lots of leftovers for lunches for work, snacks, and sometimes use some of it to make new dishes out of.

I will be enjoying the last of the Chinese today at lunch...Orange chicken and one Crab Rangoon. Can't beat it with a stick!
