We are many different kinds of shoppers here

Some of us buy what we want, when we want it, regardless of the price. Others only buy stuff on sale.
Prices are changing and going up rapidly right now, but I still like to know the general cost of something.
I want to know that if I buy a juice concentrate from the freezer and dilute it with water it usually will cost less than buying the same juice in a bottle. That is, of course, unless bottled juice is on sale. I carry those prices mostly in my head.
I like to know if two half gallons of milk, on sale, are really cheaper than one gallon of milk.
We do not haggle in our stores, but I am sure some places you do.
I download digital coupons on my store loyalty card.
Many people do not have loyalty cards.
I think many people have fresher foods than we do. Some shop at the market daily for the best fresh items.
I check the shelves and coolers for "manager specials", that is usually a mark down to move product quickly.
Tell me how you shop.

I spend the allowance my insurance has provided me with and when that doesn't cover the amount of food I need I will go to someplace that has a good supply of organic foods and then I simply buy the products I know I will eat, I rarely splurge on special foods.

I can only oder groceries once a month so I shop very carefully check all the prices and then add and delete items until I can afford the cost of them, and make sure I have things that will last a while,

Mostly we buy what we need, with very little 'impulse buying'. But I can never remember prices. We buy on sale where we can and we compare prices in the shop and would normally take the lowest. We bought a soda siphon affair which means we now make our own soda water rather than buying it in bottles all the time. While the outlay was more, we'll soon start 'saving' by doing it this way.

I always check clearance section of any store I shop. I like things on sale. Some things, like now, on my last shower cap, so I'll see for a couple of weeks, but if not on sale, I'll get the cheapest I can find. I'll hope to find special prices. If I really want it, I'll go near by, 5 minutes away Marukai, get it, if I can afford it.

It kind of depends on where I am, but in general I look for deals wherever I am I like getting the most bang for buck wherever possible.

Somehow we always have more than enough food. We are lucky.

Pretty watches for sales and prints coupons out to use in Walmart. We also check for "manager specials".

I'm always looking for sales, use my loyalty card too and compare size and price like you do. I've realized that bigger isn't always cheaper and sometimes a brand name can be less expensive than store brand. At any rate, the prices keep going up so it's important to stretch the dollar

I make a list but then add some luxuries. And in the moment I edit, I take away a couple of them.
