I've been on Excel

Just a collage of the many hollyhocks I've gotten

Since no one ever sends me flowers I figured I'd make myself a jpeg of the many different colors of hollyhocks I've gotten so far. That plant I couldn't identify has the deep hot pink bloom and seems to me it's a hollyhock after all. This video gave me the biggest grin

So that's where they all went. I used to get a lot of them but both hummers and bees have mostly disappeared

Pretty, pretty!! I love all the colors ! Do they put hollyhocks in bouquets or vases - I know their stalks are huge! Oh how sweet with crow and the dog !

@rebelann Really? I thought they'd last a long time because of their size! Interesting! I used to have a baby crow - when I was a kid. My dad built a big thing in the backyard for him . . . but one day he swallowed a twig - it was too late by the time we noticed . We had a ton of crows a few months back - I don't know what happened to them. Maybe it's gotten too hot for them .

Yeah, the heat makes birds seem to disappear but around here I've noticed they're active in the mornings before I get up and as it heats up they go hide in shade somewhere ... well, that's what I think at least.

I've tried to do that over the years but they never last very long so I stopped trying. I just love those kinds of videos. I wish we had crows around here.

I think that also the pink bloom is a hollyhock, those flowers are very common here, many of them are deep yellow.

@rebelann They have become frequent visitors to my backyard. Just hanging out and occasionally lands on my deck to watch me at the kitchen table. Kind of creepy

Not sure if I even have time for that. Unless it's part of a project or anything school related.

You've done a great job with your flowers. Love the video. All animals show their personalities if you're around them enough.

I only get the hollyhocks and a few wild desert blooms but those are very tiny, smaller than an M&M. Yes, I agree, life is good.
