Travelling is Fun!

Hello fellow Mylotters! It’s been a while since I have been here. I was travelling again but just in the neighbouring country, The Netherlands. We were on a weeks’ vacation and stayed in a hotel at the beach. It was wonderful. The beach was only an hour from my sisters place and my nieces and so we had a Sunday get together at the beach with their respective families.
This month, my husband and I have visited 3 beautiful sites in The Netherlands. We have visited the 18th century 19 windmills in Kinderdijk, Madurodam (a miniature park which shows the replicas of Dutch landmarks and historical sites) and of course the beauty of Wijk aan Zee where we stayed during our short vacation.
The photo was taken at Kinderdijk. I have compiled videos I have taken during my visit at the awesome windmills. I posted it on you tube. My you tube channel is not monetise because I am seldom active there. If you want to see the awesome windmills, you can watch it there.

Yes, there are many beautiful places to visit in The Netherlands. We wanted to visit The Hague museum but we didn’t find a parking place and there were a lot of renovations on their roads. So, we just went to Madurodam as it was nearby. It is also cold here but sunny.

I was very busy offline that I forgot to come here. Last night, I visited my other writing site and found out that I have not been there for almost a month.

@aninditasen No, I have not been to Denmark yet. Maybe one day. Yes, it would be cold for you there but you can come in summer and I think it would be bearable for you.

Sounds like an excellent place to go on a trip. How close to your home is the Netherlands? It sounds like you made several trips there. I'll check it you're link later.

They are 19 windmills and some are functioning. One of them is a museum. I was not able to go inside because of too many people waiting in line to go inside. Thank you @Nakitakona.

Very nice pic! Yes, travelling is fun. I love travelling a lot too. Before the Pandemic, I took 2-3 trips a year for leisure. One long and 1-2 short ones. Have been to the Netherlands once. A very beautiful place.

Thank you @Beestring. Before the pandemic, we traveled often to the Philippines for a few months but now, we just travel in the neighbouring countries like the Netherlands.
