Baby Girl Came to Call

My daughter in law brought baby girl to visit yesterday. She’s a busy little bee. She loves my big exercise ball and rolls it all over the apartment. I have coloring books for her and crayons. She loved the cows an colored them pink. She has long curly brown hair and always has a smile on her face. She likes to look at books and insists on being read to. I can already tell she’s going to be a book addict. Then she wanted to swing so we came to the deck. Can you tell I’m a proud grandmother?

Definitely a proud grandmother. Most little girls seem to like pink.

I have read that 120 years ago, pink was a boy color and blue was a girl color. But I don't believe everything I read.

@Kandae11 They do. I believe the pink/blue thing, but would not bet my kitty on it.

@RubyHawk The photo was not taken off. You made two posts a few minutes apart, one did not have the photo (this one) however this one already had three responses while the other (which had the photo and was the second one you posted) only had one.

I submitted a picture of flowers but I see it isn’t here. What was wrong with the picture?

Why was the picture taken off. It was a picture of flowers in my apartment complex? Please advise.

@RubyHawk She sounds like she is really fun to have at your home. How often do you see her? If you can I would love to see a picture of her? Since she always smiles she sounds like she is a happy child. That is nice that she is starting young to learn about books. Maybe she will want to be a librarian surrounded by books when she grows up or maybe she will just enjoy reading different kinds of books. Yes, you do sound like a proud grandmother and very happy to see her.

I don’t see her often and I didn’t think to get a picture while they were here. Of all the pictures I have, I only have one of her when she was just a few months old. She does love books. That will be a big help when she starts to school.

@RubyHawk so then I'm sure your relish every moment with them. My hours don't allow me to see my grandson in his home very often but at least I get to see him at church or sometimes at my job when they come in to shop. When they pull into the parking lot he says Grammy and pappy expecting to see my husband and I.
