We had rain beginning just after dark last night.
Lots of rain and wind as well. There are low spots in my front yard, but usually not a problem. It rained enough this time that it all looks like a swamp.
Tinker just HAD to go out. It was still raining. He got off the porch, but everywhere was wet. Eventually he got up on a patio table and proceeded to cry for help.
Of course I waded out through the water, and rescued him, putting him back on the porch. My big wet boy came back in and went to bed.

The forecast says rain here this afternoon. It's partly cloudy but feels nice at 73F.

It is evening. We have thunderstorms again. I may go get some goldfish and turn them loose in my yard.

@DaddyEvil Our little town had a history of flooding, until a dam was built around it. Still, there are people in town who have flooded driveways and streets. Some are complaining because the city is not maintaining the ditches to carry the water away. I am very fortunate as my home is on top of a hill, and very near the highway.

Tinker is my neutered male grey Tuxedo. The person who found him and bottle fed him was sure he was a little girl and named him Tinkerbell. I was only to keep him for her for three weeks but her life never got to where she could take him back.I also have two spayed female kitties. Lady and Angel.

Poor Tinker. You reminded me on my first cat in Latvia Cha Cha she hated the rain so when she was in the garden and stuck as the rain hit I had to dash out and put her under my arm and then dash back inside. It was so funny,
