Enjoyed coffee earlier in one of my favorite mugs. No drama, peaceful and relaxing kind of day. Sunshine and heat again today and all week. Maybe some rain on Friday. Little things in life are the best. Seeing my cats sleep and staying cool makes me happy. Helping others in need also makes my day. Saw a news story of a single father and his three daughters in an apartment not far away. No money for air conditioning. He doesn't qualify for assistance due to his job. A donation was sent to him anonymously and he now has a brand new window AC. His family is very happy. Photo is mine. A surprise gift enjoyed.

It's always uplifting to hear of a "good news" story when we're bombarded with so much bad news. I hope he and his daughters enjoy their a/c and what a nice gesture by that anonymous person.

What a wonderful story, it does a heart good to read that king of joy. Its hot and muggy here but I have the a/c going so the temperature is 21C in here. I have to wear my fur lined moccasins its so cold in here.

What a sweet cup - with a bluebird on it too! Yep - appreciate the little things in life. I'm glad that family will be more comfortable in this heat, thanks to a little help from a generous person

That is what humanity is about. I have a few donations arranged through regular bank transfers which I still continue even after being retired as I feel I can somehow make it work still. Counting my blessings make my day. I look at what I have than what others have.

This is one of those days that I call "peace day". You don't need anything. You just wake up feeling good and there is no way to explain it. Love the mug. You can't help everyone, but you can always help in some way those who are on your side.
